There are some crazy folks around here!

Ok so I live in Phelan California. It is a small town surrounded by mountains and desert, not much else. Being a small town you see the same folks often well today while standing in line to apply for a job at the only grocery store in town with 100 other folks it dawned on me, I have seen each and every one of these people before.

So anyways after they cut off the line and sent the majority of people home at 8am I went to my favorite place to use the free wifi.....ok only place in town with wifi and as usual there are the same few characters sitting with their $1 cup talking the trash talk they do so well about the community and how there is no jobs etc. Now normally I just ignore them go sit outside and pretend I don't exist, today I sat inside and was treated to the comic stylings of the homeless bunch as I call them.

One guy Ill call humpty, hes late 30's mid 40's and his mouth only stops spewing wise cracks long enough to stuff his pie hole with gram crackers. His "pad" is down by the aqueduct in Pinon Hills apparently.  He has some sort of mental disorder, maybe schizophrenia. You can see how his personality changes minute by minute.

Then there is his sidekick "Curley Joe". He is trying to graduate high school, here doing his classwork, once in a while he pops up with some sort of comment or question bust most of all when he does he laughs so hard it makes everyone around him giggle and laugh. I have a feeling that this guy has more to do but chooses so.

Then there is "Old Smokey"  This guy only laughs and drinks his coffee when he isn't smoking. Even though he is the quiet one you can tell hes important to the guys, they all pay attention to him and in one form or another they seem to pay tribute to him.

Now there is "Marc" this dude is unstable and self medicating. He preaches God and Love while he sells his weed and meth. He looks more clean cut than the others but you can see the show he puts on is to hide behind.

Then there is "Scary Lady" She shows up in a van, you know the one that looks like it should say "FREE CANDY" on the side. She shows up they shut up she talks about going some place to "WORK", when she leaves they all pile in and go to some place I hope far far away.

So yeah some crazy folks huh, maybe I have discovered part of the theft problem in the area lol.....oh wait hmmm

Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car show, other stuff

SO I got to go again to the Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car show, it was good I can't complain about a free show to much right lol.

SO there is that, and I put together a page for my Dad and his CSD activities and am working on one for his writings, worked on some rc stuff found out I still do not have a servo for the TTC truck so I am still stuck waiting on it. Stupid me for not noticing the seller was from China! Ummm yeah not really feeling much else is noteworthy so I shall say goodnight.

Mondays this is for you!

So yeah because it is Monday I decided to shake things up and put a marshmallow in my coffee. What did it accomplish you may ask, Not a damn thing I just wanted to do it. Why did I want to do it? because

Anywho it is Monday and I have LOTS of stuff going on so I will be keeping this short. 

Ok Ok not that short ;)

I had the pleasure of helping with Landen my little walking partner as seen above for a few days and while he is a handful he really is a joy to do stuff with. He loved our walks. And yes I let him pick a walking stick and yes he got to keep a can he found while we were out there. I let him semi choose our path and he really seemed to ponder the choice before running off yelling this way lol. We did find a new trash dump some thoughtless turd placed in our desert. It had a AZ drivers license, pill bottles, mail with a CA address and checks with yet another address in it. 

So that is something I will deal with today. 

So what else is going on hmmmmmm..... joined a neighborhood watch group, a couple local facebook groups, read a lot of news articles and watched like 200 hours of sponge bob whome I much prefer to Dora.

Fresh Coffee, Skittles, and R/C

So today I started it off right, fresh coffee and skittles LOL. I am gearing up to put some work in on a couple ideas I started the other day and I feel motivated. Oh wait that could be the sugar rush being pushed by the caffeine high ;)

I started thinking the other day that the G6 R/C events are very popular but kinda pricey and they don't happen around here very often either so there is a market for a good fun event that happens more often. HMMMMMMMM yup uh huh there we go............

Now some of you will remember I have have helped organize some stuff in the past and even kinda did one R/C event too but this one will be my baby. I know I can count on a few friends for help but I really want to do this myself. I already have the event laid out in my mind and I have a few ideas still bantering around the old noodle about the format and the theme are already there which makes half the planning a lot easier.

Anyways enough about that, today I also will be tearing in to the ECX revenge buggy to do some maintenance but not till I get busy on setting up the "Helping hands" so I can get a couple esc's waterproofed. I will be trying something new there too. Ill be sharing that in another blog if it works out right oh hell or wrong too.... why not we all need a laugh lol.

Oh and if some one has some empty coffee cans or those little road cones people use for kids to play soccer etc that you have no need for send them my way, I would much appreciate it.

Getting Back on Track, I wont just survive I will thrive!

Hells Bells folks its been a long while......

Yeah life got in the way and I let my writing fall to the pile of "not gona happen" stuff but with recent events I feel that it is time I bring it back to the "Better get your Sh!t Done Buddy" pile.

Most of you that may read this may remember that I started doing this Blog as kind of a mental exercise while I had been unemployed. Well I am unemployed again after nearly a year doing a job I loved I was let go, adding to my already mounting stress and financial issues. But in any case that is the ball life thew my way and frankly I plan on hitting it out of the park.

Here are some of the things I plan on working on:
First and foremost I plan on doing a lot of writing, not only to keep my mind active but to also sharpen my quill and maybe open a few doors for the future. I also hope it helps keeps Sarah from killing me ;) I need the stress relief so we can concentrate on the better parts of life and I know the past few weeks I have been moody.

Second I plan on finding a local job. Even one I don't like as long as it allows me to have time for whats important and doesn't cost me $200 a week to drive to.

Third is I plan on getting my health back in line. To help with this I will be going back to 2 meatless days a week and I need to find a juicer. I have no real explanation but I felt pretty good when I drank fresh juice every day. I will also be taking the dogs for a lot of walks since I think that they need more "Dad" time.

Fourth is I plan on following a passion of mine, I will be doing a lot more R/C stuff. I even have a few plans for how to make it pay for it self!

Fifth is something I hope everyone can understand. I will be studying and trying to figure out some stuff to help with my little buddies Landen and Ean. Both have wiggled their ways in to my heart and both have some issues and I truly want to see them both totally kill it in school and improve their home life. The only reason I have them ranked 5th is I already know I can't help them till I help myself.

Sixth is probably the silliest thing I can think of, I am broke so what do I want to do????? Oh yeah start a business LOL. I will post more about it soon as I am still working out some bugs in my idea but I hope a super simple idea may start a revolution in the R/C world.

Anyways folks here is where you will see my thoughts and actions in my grand adventure so please I beg you do not let me slack off, bug me, slap me, kick me in the junk if you do not see at least 2 updates a week. Oh and please comment I enjoy knowing some one read some stuff even if you do not like it let me know!
